Joint exercise against terror on Net held under SCO platform

On Tuesday, the National Security Council Secretariat orchestrated a collaborative counter-terrorism drill, uniting representatives from the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation through its Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) platform. The exercise aimed to detect and thwart the utilization of the internet by terrorists and separatist groups. A senior official reported, "SCO member states provided a comprehensive outlook on tackling issues related to artificial intelligence (AI), the dark web, regulatory hurdles, cryptocurrency, and emerging technologies to combat the illicit use of the internet."
