Flight that was detained in France finally reaches Mumbai; flyers questioned
The charter flight detained by French authorities last Thursday for carrying Indian passengers suspected to be victims of human trafficking landed in Mumbai. Two passengers detained by the French authorities were released by a French court on Monday. The flight, which was delayed, landed in Mumbai and the passengers were interrogated by immigration and law-enforcing agencies. Most passengers were young men from Punjab. The Indian embassy thanked French authorities for the quick resolution of the situation.
