IndiaTimes Wednesday, 27 December 2023
In yet another move to curb cybercrime in Haryana, the state's police force has teamed up with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) under the Union Home Ministry. This strategic alliance aims to establish an integrated platform to combat online offenses and safeguard the public from digital threats. The joint initiative prioritizes rapid response to cyber fraud, specifically targeting financial deceptions that often leave victims devastated. The objective is to promptly freeze illicitly obtained funds, convert them into gold certificates, and reimburse affected individuals within mere hours.
