Lalan junks JD(U) rift buzz, attends meet with Nitish
Nitish Kumar and JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh attended a meeting of the party’s national office-bearers in Delhi amid speculation about a rift and that the latter may quit the post to make way for the Bihar CM. Lalan dismissed resignation rumours and alleged the “narrative” was set at “BJP’s behest” ahead of the national executive and council meetings of JD(U) slated for Friday. JD(U) chief spokesperson KC Tyagi, too, refuted the rumours.
