Pro-VC assaulted in Kolkata over screening of Ayodhya event

Jadavpur University students wanted to live-stream the Ayodhya consecration, but the screening was barred by the pro-VC due to potential disruption. A scuffle broke out between students for and against the screening, resulting in injuries to security personnel and a student. JUTA general secretary Partha Pratim Ray condemned the attack on the pro-VC.
