Canada probe to look into India’s role in influencing elections

The commissioner has requested documents from the Canadian government. India-Canada ties are strained due to allegations of Indian involvement in a Sikh separatist's killing. The Commission is also examining alleged Russian and Iranian involvement and will hold public hearings.
