Delhi CM Kejriwal missed multiple ED summonses related to bribery allegations by AAP in the Delhi Jal Board case. In the DJB case, ED had claimed that bribes were received by AAP functionaries and used by the party for elections. AAP accused the Centre of obstructing the election campaign. On April 28, the Election Commission of India (ECI) directed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to revise the content of its Lok Sabha campaign song to adhere to the Advertising Codes outlined in the Cable Television Network Rules, 1994, and ECI guidelines. The AAP was requested to make necessary modifications to the song and resubmit it for certification. “The phrase “jail ke jawaab me hum vote denge” showing an aggressive mob holding the photo of Arvind Kejriwal showing him behind bars, casts aspersions on the Judiciary.
