My statement is being twisted: Misa Bharti clarifies her remark on PM Modi
Friday, 12 April 2024 () Alleging that her statement was twisted, the RJD leader said to the media, "I made a remark on the verdict of Supreme Court on electoral bonds. I said that if our government comes to power, we will conduct an inquiry and punish the accused. My statement is being twisted."
During an election rally in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut, now a BJP candidate, inadvertently mixed up Tejashwi Yadav with BJP MP Tejasvi Surya while criticising the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader for "eating fish". However, it was Yadav who had previously faced criticism for a video showing him consuming fish during Navratri. The rally, held in Mandi, highlighted Ranaut's political foray in the Lok Sabha seat. In her address, she not only attacked Yadav but also accused Surya of "hooliganism" and referenced his alleged fish-eating habits.
