Defence ministry issues tender to HAL for 97 Tejas jets
Friday, 12 April 2024 () HAL received an RFP for 97 Tejas Mark-1A fighters. The Defence Acquisitions Council approved the acquisition of 'improved' Tejas jets and an upgrade programme for Sukhoi-30MKI jets, along with 156 Prachand choppers.
