100km poll trek to village yields just 4 votes

IndiaTimes Saturday, 20 April 2024 ()
The polling team embarked on a four-day expedition to reach Kanar village, situated in one of the most secluded areas of Uttarakhand and housing 587 registered voters. Their journey concluded in disappointment as only four villagers, along with four members of the polling party, exercised their voting rights on Friday. Disheartened, the team made their way back to Pithoragarh on Saturday.
