MTP case: Cops want ID of minor, doctors move High Court
Bombay high court on Monday kept for urgent hearing a petition filed by two gynaecologists, which seeks to assail actions of a police officer from a district near Mumbai of compelling one of them to disclose the name and identity of a minor girl who sought his service to terminate her pregnancy. HC has issued a notice to the state and asked the public prosecutor to take instructions and has kept it for hearing on Tuesday.
