The study reviews the role of nutrition in reducing the risk of Alzheimer's and highlights plant-based diets like the Mediterranean diet and traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Indian cuisines as effective in comparison to the Western diet. The study also explains the impact of certain foods on dementia risk factors, such as the increased risk associated with meat consumption and the protective effects of green leafy vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, omega-3 fatty acids, and whole grains.
