Indian American Minita Sanghvi secures Democratic nomination for New York’s 44th State Senate district. She is endorsed by Saratoga County Democratic Committee and Schenectady County Democratic Committee. Sanghvi is a marketing professor at Skidmore College and previously worked at Walmart. She is supported by Indian American Impact and will be the first openly gay woman in the New York Senate.
