SC collegium recommends chief justices for Uttarakhand, Orissa and Meghalaya high courts
The Supreme Court collegium, led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, has recommended the appointment of judges as chief justices of the High Courts in Uttarakhand, Odisha, and Meghalaya. Justice Ritu Bahri has been recommended for the position of Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court, making her the second woman to hold the position. Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh has been recommended for the position of Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, and Justice S Vaidyanathan has been recommended for the position of chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
