Those behind Kanhaiya Lal murder are 'BJP people': Rajasthan CM Gehlot

IndiaTimes Monday, 13 November 2023
Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot has alleged that the murderers of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal were "BJP people" who were released from police custody under pressure from the party. The BJP, however, dismissed the claim and blamed the Congress government for failing to contain communal incidents. Gehlot also raised doubts about the investigation conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the murder case, accusing the BJP of intentionally slowing down the investigation for political gain.
