Monday, 23 October 2023 Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav responded to posters portraying Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav as the "Future PM," saying that it is not an issue and people often put up posters. Earlier, several posters were put up outside the Samajwadi Party headquarters in Lucknow, expressing support for Akhilesh Yadav as the future Prime Minister. The INDIA bloc, an alliance of 28 political parties, including the Samajwadi Party, has not declared its prime ministerial candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
