G20: India to provide hands-on UPI experience to visiting delegates

India's central government plans to showcase the country's digital public goods and its 'Digital India' initiative during its G20 Presidency by providing hands-on experiences to visiting foreign delegates with UPI wallets technology. The government will give foreign delegates Rs 500-1,000 in their UPI wallets for UPI transactions. UPI is India's mobile-based fast payment system that has become popular for retail digital payments.
