While going through a busy expressway tunnel to drop off a few friends, this man saw a cat laying by the side of the road.
He wasn't sure if it was a cat or something inanimate.
After dropping off his friends, he made a detour of 12 km to check again as he felt that it might be an animal in distress.
He risked stopping his car by the road shoulder as it is an offense to stop at the tunnel.
On closer inspection, he saw that it was indeed a cat, curled up on the road.
He picked her up and took her back to his car.
The cat was adopted by a kind family afterward.
