Eight former employees allege that they were illegally terminated for speaking out about gender discrimination and harassment at SpaceX.

In 2022, the eight former employees wrote an open letter, which was signed by 400 other employees.

Calling out Musk and urging company executives to make SpaceX more inclusive.

The eight employees were fired shortly after the letter was released.

The suit alleges that "Musk personally ordered the Plaintiffs' terminations.".

Tom Moline, a plaintiff in the lawsuit, once told CNN... ... that SpaceX utilized an , "‘ends justifies the means’ philosophy to turn a blind eye to the ongoing mistreatment, harassment, and abuse reported by my colleagues, much of which was directly encouraged and inspired by the words and actions of the CEO.”.

The lawsuit seeks monetary damages for "lost wages, earnings, and other employee benefits, emotional distress."
