N. Rangaswamy

N Rangasamy is an Indian politician is the Chief Minister Elect of the Union Territory of Puducherry, assuming office on 7 May 2021. He previously served as Chief Minister of Puducherry from 2001 to 2008 as a member of the Indian National Congress and then from 2011 to 2016 as a member of his own party, All India N.R. Congress. He holds the record of becoming Chief Minister with in three months after creating his own party. He is only person to become Chief Minister of Puducherry by starting a new party on his own.
