Lawyers for Trump announced Monday that the former president and his company will appeal the judgment handed down last week, NBC News reports.
The judgment found that Trump, his company, including sons Eric and Donald, lied for years about his wealth to grow his real estate empire. .
Other penalties from Judge Arthur Engoron include barring Trump from doing any business in New York for three years. .
