Pro-Kannada group warns theatres over 'Thug Life'

Pro-Kannada group Karnataka Rakshana Vedike protested against Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' in Bengaluru, following his controversial remark about Kannada's origin. Led by Praveen Shetty, the group threatened theatre owners, prompting the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to ban the film's release statewide. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah criticized Haasan's statement, while the actor refused to apologize, escalating tensions further.
