Sonia Gandhi attacks PM Modi, Amit Shah over CAA violence
Monday, 16 December 2019 Congress chief Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the Narendra Modi government over the Centre's action against protests over the new citizenship law, saying that the use of force against protesting students will prove to be the beginning of the fall of the central government.

Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi on August 09 said that Sonia Gandhi's tenure is coming to an end and there is proper procedure which Congress Working Committee carried out. "Her tenure is coming to an end. There's proper procedure which CWC carries out. It'll be done in near future and you will have a result. It's written in Congress Constitution, we are bound to do it and it's being done," said Singhvi on party's interim president Sonia Gandhi.
Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and husband of party leader Priyanka Gandhi on August 08 visited the AIIMS where a 12-year-old rape victim who is admitted at the hospital after facing sexual abuse. Speaking to ANI, Vadra said that he met the parents of the girl, and requested the doctors for best possible treatment that could be given to the victim. Vadra informed that he managed to get the parents a room in a dharamshala near the hospital. Vadra also expressed displeasure over the state of security of women in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10 said that major problem of mobile and internet connectivity has been resolved in Andaman and Nicobar. In the neighbouring United Kingdom, Prime Minister Boris Johnson called reopening of schools in September the government's moral responsibility.
