Akshay Kumar meets Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is in Uttar Pradesh for shooting of his upcoming film 'Ram Setu', met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on March 18. Akshay was accompanied by the cast of 'Ram Setu' which include film's director Abhishek Sharma, co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha among others. Film's muhurat shot has been planned to be filmed in Ayodhya at the Ram Janmabhoomi site where a grand temple of Lord Ram is being constructed.

He added, "PFI tells people to not contribute (for Ram Temple) as it's disputed land, Siddaramaiah says the same. They have the same opinion. Sukma encounter: CM Yogi announces ex-gratia of Rs 50 lakhs for family of Head Constable Raj Kumar Yadav

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has announced ex-gratia amount of Rs 50 lakhs for family of Head Constable Raj Kumar Yadav, who lost his life in Naxal attack at Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh, informed Ayodhya Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay to media persons on April 04. An encounter took place between Naxals and security forces in Junaguda village in Sukma district on April 03. In the deadly Naxals attack, at least 22 security personnel were killed, and around 32 sustained injuries in the encounter.

He said it has been decided that a road in the district will be named after the slain soldier. Over 20 soldiers lost their lives in the encounter with Maoists on April 3.
