Tributes paid to martyrs on 12th anniversary of 26/11 attack
Thursday, 26 November 2020 Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, state home minister Anil Deshmukh and environment minister Aaditya Thackeray paid their respects at the newly-built memorial at the police headquarters in south Mumbai. Remebering their personnel killed in the attack, the Maharashtra Police in a tweet said, "A tribute to the ones who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the rest!"

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwathnarayan condemned Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray 's reported comment regarding incorporating into the state the areas of Karnataka, where Marathi-speaking people are in majority. "These kinds of statements will create a lot of tension among people. He shouldn't make such statements, said CN Ashwathnarayan. He further added, "Congress, which is supporting Shiv Sena, should probably withdraw its support. This kind of party and the Chief Minister should not be supported. They should be shown their place."
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has lashed out at his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray over his comments on the border issue. India's Covid-19 vaccination drive was launched by PM Modi on January 16, Saturday. Reactions from politicos across the country started pouring in soon after the launch. Police in Mumbai will now patrol Worli sea face on Segway. Maharashtra government on Saturday provided Segways to Mumbai police. The Segway will be used by the police in Mumbai for patrolling. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on January 20 said that a complaint has been received regarding web series 'Tandav'. Action will be taken as per the law, he said. "Central government should bring legislation in regard to OTT (over-the-top) platforms," he said. BJP leader Ram Kadam and other leaders alleged that the web series 'Tandav' has some inappropriate scenes of Hindu gods which are hurting religious sentiments. Recently, the creators of 'Tandav' apologized for unintentionally hurting people's sentiments.
