Bharat Rashtra Samithi: 21 years after launch, KCR turns TRS into national party

TRS supremo and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday launched the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at exactly 1.19pm, in its first step towards becoming a national party.The move comes after the party's state executive members and other elected representatives passed a resolution to merge TRS in the new party. The resolution would be sent to the Election Commission either on Thursday or Friday.
