Amit Shah: Modi govt provided political stability, never took populist decisions
Wednesday, 29 March 2023 Home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said the Narendra Modi government had given political stability to the country and created a strong environment of national security that enabled industrial development from the northeast to Kutch in Gujarat and from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Yesterday, union home minister Amit Shah said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had put pressure on him to frame the then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in a fake encounter case when Congress was in power at the Centre.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a massive roadshow in the Tumakuru region of poll-bound Karnataka and addressed the huge crowd that had gathered there. China has opposed the holding of a G20 meeting in Kashmir. On the other hand, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have not registered for the event to be held in Srinagar as well. On Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that China firmly opposes holding G20 meetings in any form in 'disputed' areas and will not attend such meetings. India countered the objection by saying it is free to hold meetings on its own territory.
