More firepower: Hybrid vertical take-off UAV successfully tested at Pokhran range; all you need to know
Saturday, 14 June 2025 () Nagpur's Solar Aerospace and Defence Limited (SDAL) successfully tested its Rudrastra VTOL-UAV at Pokhran, demonstrating its ability to strike targets within a 50km radius with 8kg of ammunition. The UAV, designed for deep penetration and return, showcased precision targeting and a 170km range. Following successful trials, the next step involves supplying the Rudrastra systems to the army.
