Two Hamas gunmen open fire at Jerusalem bus stop, killing three
Friday, 1 December 2023 Two Hamas gunmen from East Jerusalem killed three people at a Jerusalem bus stop. They were shot dead by off-duty soldiers and an armed civilian. The attackers arrived at the scene in a car, armed with an M-16 rifle and a handgun. Security camera footage shows the gunmen charging at the crowd before being shot. The victims were a woman in her 20s, a woman in her 60s, and a 74-year-old rabbi. The Shin Bet security agency identified the attackers as Hamas affiliates who had previously been jailed in Israel.
