A farm in America is selling gigantic avocados

A farm has unveiled the ultimate lunch for millennials - these enormous AVOCADOS.The bulbous 'long neck' fruits dwarf the regular Hass variety, which usually weigh in at around 1/3 of a pound. The monster long necks are grown by farmers at the Miami Fruit company in southern Florida, and have become quite the hit on Instagram. They are sold by weight, with a small box costing $47 USD or a bulk box for $197. "All Avocados are slightly different in texture and flavor, but this variety is thick, creamy, savory, and slightly sweet," said Rane Roatta, 26 the co-owner of Miami Fruit. The season for long neck avocados is usually mid to late summer, but they've proved so popular this year that Miami Fruit has already sold out. "Customers are now pre-ordering them for next year," said co-owner Edelle Schlegel, 22.  "They became a real hit, since the photo that we posted on Instagram went viral," she added. The company also offers an 'Avocado Box' - so customers can sample many different varieties, depending on what is in season at the time. "You will receive big ones, small ones, and even some the size of your head," said Edelle.
