Guest on C4 News says Rees-Mogg was talking ‘b***ocks’
Appearing as a guest on Channel 4 News, Financial Times journalist Gillian Tett was asked her verdict on Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg’s comments blaming the UK’s economic turmoil on interest rates.
She replied: “To use a non-technical term, that is pretty much b***ocks".
After initially apologising for her language, interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy later said he checked on media regulator Ofcom's website and found that it was described as “medium language".
