Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips says 'Raneem's law' scheme will “sort the systems we have now that are currently failing” as the initial phase is rolled out.
The new law is named in memory of Raneem Oudeh who was killed by her ex-husband that she had reported to the police at least seven times.

Drivers across the UK will soon enjoy discounts on dozens of new electric car models after the government announced a £650 million grant scheme worth up to £3,750 per car, as part of the Plan for Change and making owning an electric car a reality for thousands. Roads Minister Lilian Greenwood said: "You can save up to £1500 a year if you switch to electric.
