Baloch Militants Hijack Jaffar Express in Pakistan, Take Hostages

Balochistan, Pakistan – A group of armed militants from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the Jaffar Express train in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on March 11, 2025.

The train, carrying approximately 500 passengers, was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar when it was ambushed in a remote tunnel in the Bolan district.
