Left Democratic Front (Kerala): Indian political party
The Left Democratic Front (LDF) is an alliance of centre-left to left-wing political parties in the state of Kerala, India. It is one of the two major political alliances in Kerala, the other being Congress-led UDF, each of which has been in power alternately for the last four decades. LDF won the May 2016 election and is currently in power. It had a historic re-election in 2021 Kerala Elections where an incumbent government was re-elected for first time in 40 years. The alliance consists of Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India, Kerala Congress (M), Nationalist Congress Party, Janata Dal (Secular), Indian National League, and various smaller parties.
