UK house prices rise for first time in over a year, lender Nationwide says

British house prices rose in February with the first annual increase in over a year, according to mortgage lender Nationwide Building Society. The uptick in prices can be attributed to declining borrowing costs. The market was previously affected by the Bank of England raising interest rates and bond market turmoil under former Prime Minister Liz Truss.
