California Plane Crash: Plane Crashes Into California Homes, Spark Fire In Simi Valley| Pilot Killed

A small single-engine plane crashed into two homes in Simi Valley’s Wood Ranch area, killing the pilot and igniting a fire that damaged both structures. The Van’s RV-10 aircraft had departed from Lancaster and was bound for Camarillo when it went down on High Meadow Street. Approximately 40 firefighters responded, quickly knocking down the fire and beginning salvage operations. Residents inside both two-story homes evacuated safely with no injuries.
