Thursday, 21 November 2024 A volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland has erupted for the seventh time since December, prompting evacuation orders.
The volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula Lying had been dormant for around 800 years before the geological systems suddenly sprang back into life in 2021.

Tourists have returned to Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula to witness the latest volcanic eruption, which began on 16 July near the town of Grindavik.
