WB Assembly elections: Discussed candidates for phase 1, 2 polls, says Dilip Ghosh

While speaking to media in Kolkata on March 02, West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh spoke ahead of the West Bengal Assembly polls. Ghosh said, "Core Committee discussed candidates for Phase 1 and 2 polls. It will be declared soon. We also reviewed the upcoming election rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath in the state."

Ahead of assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, political parties have been actively campaigning in the state. Taking a jibe at Sonia Gandhi and MK Stalin, Home Minister Amit Shah during his rally in Villipuram said that Sonia Gandhi is worried to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister while MK Stalin is worried to make Udhayanidhi the Chief Minister. "On one side, there's AIADMK and NDA thinking about welfare of the poor while DMK and Congress on the other end are corrupt and follow politics of divide and rule," Amit Shah added.

A group of leaders who had earlier written to Indian National Congress chief Sonia Gandhi seeking reform in the party, held an event in Jammu on February 27. The programme was held in honour of Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently retired from Rajya Sabha. He even received a tearful farewell from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 'Expression of my concern': Anand Sharma on tweets against Congress-ISF alliance

'No CAA, free 200 units of electricity in Assam', 'guarantees' Priyanka Gandhi

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi "guaranteed" not to implement CAA in Assam during a rally in Tezpur on March 02. "When our party comes into power, a law will be enacted to ensure that CAA is not implemented here. 200 units of electricity will be given free of cost every month. We will provide Rs 2,000 per month to all the housewives as 'grihini samman'. The woman working in tea gardens will be provided Rs 365 per day. We will create 5 lakhs new government jobs.
