She reduced campaign to political gutter: Swapan Dasgupta on CM Banerjee's Modi-Shah 'syndicate' remark

BJP leader Swapan Dasgupta reacted on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Narendra Modi-Amit Shah is nation's only syndicate remark. He said that the WB Chief Minister has reduced the political campaign to 'political gutter'. "The language she is using, her tone completely out of order," he said. On March 08, the West Bengal Chief Minister slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah by saying they are the only syndicate in the country. West Bengal will go on polls from March 27.

Kolkata: 7 killed in fire; Mamata Banerjee visits site, announces ex-gratia

At least seven were killed after fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Kolkata. Fire was reported from New Koilaghat building on strand road on Monday evening. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee visited the building where fire broke out. Banerjee announced ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to kin of deceased. Banerjee also announced government job to one family member of deceased. The building houses zonal offices of eastern and south eastern railways. Four firefighters, one assistant SI and one RFP personnel were among those who died. Fire was controlled later on Monday night, as per reports. Watch the full video for more.
