Amid a controversy over a cricket stadium in Gujarat being renamed after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government on Wednesday said the name change involves only the Motera stadium and the entire sports complex continues to be named after Sardar Patel. Asked about the allegations, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, however, told reporters that only the Motera stadium has been renamed and the complex continues to be named after Vallabhbhai Patel. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who was present alongside Javadekar at the media briefing after a cabinet meeting, also took a swipe at the Congress leaders, asking whether party chief Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi have so far praised the world's tallest statue of Sardar Patel erected at Kevadiya in Gujarat. Businessman Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, today rode a bicycle in Delhi to protest against the rising fuel prices and hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he has to come out of his AC cars and see how people are suffering. Congress leader KC Venugopal said that it is evident that some from the highest echelons of the government were involved in leaking sensitive military information to a journalist. The Congress leader added that the breach of secrecy concerning vital military operations was shameful and questioned the Modi government’s silence over the issue. While speaking to ANI in Patna on February 26, the former deputy chief minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi spoke on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'North-South' remark. Modi said, "He (Rahul Gandhi) gives justification and Robert Vadra stands in his support and say he hasn't said it. When he (Rahul) visits north-east, he says something against north.
