Amid India's worst Covid wave yet, a sliver of hope emerged. The Union government revealed districts without new cases in weeks. 32 districts have not seen any new cases in almost a month. The Union health minister revealed the stats during ministers' meet. “For the last 7 days, 180 districts haven't seen new cases. 18 districts haven't seen new cases in the last 14 days. 54 districts haven't seen new cases in the last 21 days and 32 districts have not seen new cases in the last 28 days,” said Harsh Vardhan. Amid the disastrous second wave of COVID-19, the Indian Air Force's (IAF) C-17 aircraft, which was airborne from Hindon air base, landed in Frankfurt, Germany for airlifting medical supplies. The aircraft will depart for Mumbai carrying 35 tonnes of medical equipment.
