NIA conducts first BRICS webinar on misuse of Internet by terrorists
Thursday, 15 April 2021 BRICS member states, at a virtual seminar organised by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) this week on the misuse of internet for terrorism, sought to link expedient international co-operation and seamless sharing of good practices in tackling the menace, to the creation of a safer and secure environment for citizens across the world.
Union External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Apr 06. The two ministers held delegation-level talks in Delhi. During talks, EAM Jaishankar said, "I think when it comes to our own relationship, you know that it is indeed something very special. Despite the rapid changes in the world over last many decades, our relations have grown from strength to strength. This year marks the 22nd year of our strategic partnership and 12th year of our special and privileged strategic partnership. So, I'm sure that many of our conversations would be conducted in that spirit as very close partners." "Our countries are tied through a strategic partnership and at the heart of our partnership is the long-lived friendship between our nations and proximity of our stance on relevant international issues and our friendship. Our bilateral, political dialogue is at its sustainable highest even amid the stringent epidemiological restrictions. It was an honour for me to host you and your colleagues in September last year and we had BRICS' Foreign Ministers' Council and we also had bilateral and trilateral meetings," said Russian Foreign Minister.

As the National Investigation Agency's probe into the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare continues, CCTV footage of main accused Sachin Vaze surfaced. The footage, dated March 4 at 7 pm, reportedly showed the suspended police officer going to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. He was dressed in a shirt and trousers. The following day, i.e. March 5, Mansukh Hiran was found dead in Thane. He was the owner of the car found with explosive near Ambani's house on February 25. Watch the full video for more.
