Cyclone Biparjoy may hold up monsoon; coast safe
A cyclone, named Biparjoy, formed over eastcentral and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea on Tuesday and is expected to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm by Thursday. It’s not likely to majorly impact India’s west coast but could further delay monsoon’s onset over Kerala by driving away moisture, climate experts said.
