‘Nari Shakti’ behind Aditya-L1: Nigar Shaji is project director

IndiaTimes Saturday, 2 September 2023
‘Nari Shakti’ is behind the success of several key missions of India’s space agency Isro. While Kalpana Kalahasti was one of the faces behind the success of the Chandrayaan-3 landing mission, Nigar Shaji is leading India’s first solar mission as project director for Aditya-L1. Before Aditya-L1 and Chandrayaan-3 missions, two women — project director M Vanitha and mission director Ritu Karidhal Srivastava — too played important roles in the Chandrayaan-2 mission.
