Delhi government's first major bureaucratic reshuffle under new law, 8 IAS officers given new postings
The Delhi government has announced a major bureaucratic reshuffle, assigning new roles to eight IAS officers transferred to the city. The order also gave additional charges to senior bureaucrats. Land and Building Additional Chief Secretary Manish Gupta will hold additional charge as the CEO of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board and MD of the Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation. Other officers have been given charge of different departments. The National Capital Civil Services Authority, headed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, recommended the postings and disciplinary action against some officials. This reshuffle comes after the enactment of the GNCTD (Amendment) Act, 2023.
