'Dropped' BJP aspirants from1st list stage protests in state

Supporters of Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, a loyalist of former CM Vasundhara Raje, protested at the BJP office after he was replaced by Jaipur Rural MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore in the first list of candidates. The protesters demanded a meeting with party president CP Joshi and burned tires outside the office. In another protest, workers from Deoli-Uniara protested against the ticket given to Vijay Bainsla, son of community leader Kirori Singh Bainsla. Anita Gurjar, a two-term MLA, announced that she would contest the polls as an independent candidate.
