Maratha reservation: Meeting of Maharashtra Cabinet sub-committee tomorrow
Sunday, 29 October 2023 A meeting of the Maharashtra Cabinet sub-committee will be held to discuss providing reservation to the Maratha community. The committee will submit a report on the work done so far. The meeting will also discuss the statutory and administrative examination of the documents required for giving the Maratha-Kunbi, Kunbi-Maratha caste certificate. Manoj Jarange Patil, who is on a hunger strike demanding reservation for the Maratha community, has held talks with the government but no breakthrough has been made.
