The BJP's decision to field Kiran Maheshwari's daughter, Deepti Maheshwari, has sparked rebellion within the party, with some calling her an "outsider" and "dynast." Meanwhile, the Congress lacks a strong leader to take advantage of the BJP's weaknesses. The district remains faction-ridden for both parties.
