The case involves 45 people who were identified in an attack on the Indian consulate in San Francisco. Pro-Khalistani entities trespassed into the consulate and attempted to set it on fire, raising slogans, damaging the building, and injuring officials. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered a case and conducted further investigations, including a visit to San Francisco by a team of NIA officials.
