'Made in India' branding on steel products will promote brand India at global level: Scindia

IndiaTimes Thursday, 23 November 2023
The government has launched a government initiative to promote 'Made in India' steel products globally. Steel makers will add 'Made in India' labels to their products, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' vision. The first phase includes Integrated Steel Players (ISPs), while the second phase will include Secondary Steel Industries (SSIs). The Ministry of Steel is the first ministry to introduce such a branding exercise, with a single brand identity representing India's manufacturing potential.
